Music Director Andreas Delfs leads your RPO in a collection of musical stories. Richard Strauss’ Till Eulenspiegel tells the tale of a medieval German trickster. Saint-Saëns’ The Carnival of the Animals brings the audience on a musical tour of the animal kingdom featuring sisters Christina & Michelle Naughton on two pianos. Petrushka tells the tragic story of a puppet, a character popular in Russian folktales. Stravinsky’s compelling score brings the title character into uniquely human experiences, including soaring love and tragic death.
