The pop, soul, and R&B sounds of Motown and Philly Soul face off in this exciting concert experience. Principal Pops Conductor Jeff Tyzik leads the RPO, Broadway star Chester Gregory (Motown: The Musical) and vocal powerhouses Ashley Jayy and Brik Liam through this incredible evening full of favorites made popular by The Spinners, The Stylistics, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Lou Rawls, Diana Ross and Percy Sledge. Philly Soul classics such as “Ain’t No Stopping Us Now,” "You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine” and “Me and Mrs Jones” share the stage with iconic Motown hits including “I Heard it Through the Grapevine,” “Don’t Leave Me This Way” and “I’m Coming Out”.
